Fashion On The Footpath.
LYNCHPIX
The first half of day one, the focus was nails.
We found a great location to the rear of Kensington Church & produced a lovely set of shots. Mr. Sunshine even made a (brief) appearance…
–
For the second half of the day, our focus was lips. We stuck to the more urban environment of the busy High Street for our backdrop.
–
–
–
For our last pair of lips, the weather turned on us & it became a little chilly, but I think it worked really well with our Eastern looking subject.
The following day we began bright & early in the nearby Portobello Road Market. First on the agenda was eyes.
–
–
We were spoilt for choice with a fantastically eclectic array of models to work with.
–
–
Every subject for each particular feature offered us something different.
–
–
The back end of the day focused on hair. We started off neat & tidy with a quite simple style.
Before moving onto slightly more dramatic looks.
We headed around to Church Street just as the dusk light broke. These traditional phone boxes made the perfect backdrop.
For our last shot of the day, we led our final subject & her long luscious locks around to a nearby cobbled mews.
–
–
It was a fantastically enjoyable 48 hours with my ‘fave frame’ being this shot below.
This will probably be the only place this shot will ever be published as we were actually shooting this particular young lady for her striking eyes, but as she ducked her head from the mid-afternoon sun, the stars aligned & we produced this corker.
–
Well that’s it for now- ENJOY!
